Dear Bilal,

Here is the info about the repeater. I have Aselsan VHF repeater, model S4441. During the war here in Bosnia, there was a Turkish army battalion located in Zenica and after they left, they gave us this repeater as the donation but we can not do anything about the programing. The repeater is waiting here for many years and I have tried a lot but it is very complicated to do the programing.
 
Here is what I have so far:
 
-I have the service manual in Turkiye language so I am using google translate to read it,
-I have opened the TT part of the repeater and made a programing cable.
-I also have a few programs. TTP4400 program. ( with this program I can only read the repeater but I can not write anything back into repeater)
 
In these last couple of days I got a contact with another friend, who works in the army. They also have Aselsan radio equipment . They have new equipment but they still have few this old types S4441. 🙂
 
My friend from the army told me that he can not program it with his programing equipment, and he thinks it is "regional settings problem". He sent me the photo of the display message about the problem.
 
So, my friend Bilal, if you can, please post this topic on your web page so we can see will someone say something useful about this programing.
 
Also, if you know that there are good electronic technicians on the page, we can ask them seriuos question! Is there a way to change the way of programing this type of the repeater and make it more simpler? Maybe we can remove TT logic unit completely and make some other electronic circuit for programing or use it from other radios and modify it?
 
My goal is to program simple analog frequencies on the repeater. Some 145MHz and some 162 MHz frequencies.
 
 So, thank you very much my friend Bilal and I hope we can have some help from the operators from Turkiye.
