Adini görünce FT8 mi bu acaba diyebilirsiniz belki ama değil.
Evet kullandığı modülasyon FT8 tabanlı olduğundan yaratıcısı (KN4CRD)  böyle bir isim koymalı uygun görmüş ama daha farklı.

FT8Call öncelikle, FT8 JT65 gibi protokollerde bulunan kalip mesaj olayından vazgeçmiş.
Yani TA2NC TA2XXX KM69 diye bir mesaj göndermekten ziyade,
RTTY gibi klavyeden ne yazarsanız karşıya ileten bir weak signal protokolü.

GPL lisansı ile yazıldığından tamamen ücretsiz bir yazılım.

Şimdilk çağrı frekansları şu şekilde belirtilmiş.
1.842Mhz   3.578Mhz   7.078Mhz
10.130Mhz   14.078Mhz   18.104Mhz
21.078Mhz   24.922Mhz   28.078Mhz
50.318Mhz


Yazılım
Windows, MacOS, Linux işletim sistemlerinde çalışıyor. Ayrı bir güzelliği,  Raspberry Pi üzerinde bile çalışabilmesi.
Böylece portable çalışırken yanınızda pc taşımanıza gerek yok.

Yeni protokol beacon modunda da çalışmaya imkan sağlıyor.
Ayrıca bazı özel mesaj tipleri belirtilmiş.
Karşıdan mesaj okundu bilgisi bile alabiliyorsunuz.

& – What is your QTC (station message)?
% – What is your station power?
$ – What stations are you hearing? (Will transmit the top 4 ranked by SNR)
QSO [CALLSIGN]? – Can you communicate directly with CALLSIGN?
If the station ACKs, they will send back the SNR and the last time the callsign was heard at their station
|message – Please ACK and retransmit the following message
The message is retransmitted by the receiving station  verbatim with the addition of “DE [CALLSIGN]” added to the end of the message…meaning you do not need to add it to your message.
!message – Please display this message in a alert dialog and ACK if acknowledged
#message – Please ACK if you receive this message in its entirety
AGN? – Have the station automatically retransmit their last message
QTC – Send station message
QTH – Send location message
GRID – Send a long-form grid locator (to be spotted on a map via PSKReporter & APRS-IS)
QSL? – Did you receive my last transmission?
QSL – I received your last transmission
YES – I confirm your last inquiry
NO – I negative confirm your last inquiry
HW CPY? – How do you copy?
RR – Roger. Received. I copy.
FB – Fine Business

Ben bazen (veya çoğunlukla) FT8'in sadece sinyal raporlama ile iletişim protokolünden bıktığım zaman kullandığım bir mod. Oldukça yavaş, ama FT8'in iletişim avantajı bunu çoğunlukla unutturuyor. Buraya yazdığım iletinin karşı istasyona gönderilmesi için neredeyse 10 defa gönderme yapması gerekecek... Hızlandırılabilirse çok daha keyifli olabilir.

Yazılımı henüz kurup test etme imkanim olmadı ancak , bu mesajların karşılıklı iki yazılımın otomatik mesajlaşma için kullandığını düşünüyorum.
Yani ? işareti geldiğinde sizdeki yazılım SNR oranını otomatik olarak gonderiyor olabilir.
Veya bir qso başladığında sizin yazdıklarınız yanında bu tür bilgilerin exchange i için bu mesajları otomatik te gonderiyor olabilir.
Kurup bakmak ya da kullanan arkadaslara sormak lazım.
